Our developmental prep leagues will focus on all skills needed to develop the fundamentals of the game such as blocking, hitting, passing, serving, and offensive and defensive systems while also helping prepare athletes for the next level of competition...whether that's school or club volleyball. We do this by providing athletes with practices and matches in a league setting with a trained volunteer coach. All coaches will go through classroom and on the court training to provide our athletes with the best possible instruction. Trainings are lead by the Avalanche Club Coaches. 

The Avalanche VBC coaches are there to assist the Developmental Prep Coaches with skill developmental for the players and will also be leading one or two team drills per practice. They are not there to coach teams, but to help guide, teach and assist our Prep Coaches.

The winter season will run 7-weeks and include: 7-weeks of practices and matches and conclude with an end-of-season single elimination tournament. 

The athletes team placement is determined by their friend and/or coach request. Practices are held on Sunday Afternoons or Monday evenings for the Yeti & Blizzard Divisions. Matches for both divisions will be played on Saturday mornings.
